Winners of 2023 contest on protecting Party’s ideological foundation honoured

The winners of a contest on protecting the Party’s ideology were honoured at a ceremony in Hanoi on October 18.

The event was jointly held by the Party Committee of the Central Agencies Bloc, the Communist Review, Nhan Dan Newspaper, the Vietnam Television, Radio the Voice of Vietnam, and the Vietnam News Agency.

The contest aimed to continue affirming the significance of protecting the Party’s ideological foundation and refuting wrongful and hostile views in the new situation, while enhancing the awareness and responsibility of Party Committees, organisations, members, officials, and people in the work.

The contest had three categories: magazine (print or e-magazine), newspaper (print or e-paper), and radio/television/video clips.

This year's contest received 3,736 entries, with contents focusing on major issues in the protection of the ideological foundation of the Party and the refusal of wrongful and hostile views of points; values of Marxism-Leninism and Ho Chi Minh thoughts; Vietnam's current development model; the Party's theories on Party building and rectification and fighting against corruption and other negative phenomena; and the core and new contents of the document of the 13th National Party Congress and the resolutions of the 13th Central Committee’s sessions.

The organisation board honoured 51 works in the three categories and presented certificates of merit to Party Organisations with outstanding performance in the contest.
