The contest was jointly held by the People's Army Newspaper, the Vietnam Journalists’ Association and the Military Commercial Joint Stock Bank.
The contest attracted the participation of more than 500 entries from 30 press agencies across the country, 425 of which were eligible for awards.
One first prize, five second prizes, seven third prizes and 15 consolation prizes will be presented to the most outstanding entries at an awards ceremony scheduled to be held at the Hanoi Opera House on April 26.
The first prize went to Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tran Dinh Huynh, former director of the Institute of Party Building under the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics.
According to the Organising Committee, the results of the contest have made an important contribution to the effective implementation of the Politburo’s Resolution No.35-NQ/TW, dated October 22, 2018, on “strengthening the protection of the Party’s ideological foundation and refuting wrongful and hostile views in the new situation”.
