The event saw the presence of Politburo member, Permanent member of the PCC’s Secretariat and Head of the PCC’s Organisation Commission Truong Thi Mai; Politburo member and Standing Vice Chairman of the National Assembly Tran Thanh Man; Secretary of the PCC and Head of the PCC’s Commission for Communication and Education Nguyen Trong Nghia; and Vice President Vo Thi Anh Xuan.
The organising board received 279 press works and records, 163 literary works, 135 works of folk art, 115 works in the publishing industry, and 110 works of art.
At the award ceremony, one special prize, 11 A prizes, 55 B prizes, 89 C awards, and 82 Consolation prizes, were presented to outstanding works.
The panorama painting on the Dien Bien Phu Victory by Vietnam Culture Heritage Conservation Ltd won the special prize.
Head of the PCC’s Commission for Communication and Education Nguyen Trong Nghia emphasised that studying and following President Ho Chi Minh’s ideology, morality, and lifestyle is the duty and responsibility of Party members, officials and individuals, contributing to spreading cultural beauty and duplicating good deeds among the community.
The contest has been held annually six times by the PPC’s Commission for Communication and Education.
