Speaking at the event, Nguyen Trong Nghia, Head of the Central Commission for Communication and Education, congratulated the winning photographers and called for a concerted effort to disseminate information about the national border and territory.

He emphasised the need to fight against incorrect views and illegal activities that undermine national solidarity and Vietnam’s good relations with neighbouring countries.

At the ceremony, the organisers presented two gold prizes, four silver prizes, six bronze prizes and ten consolation prizes to the 22 best works.

The award council also selected 128 works to showcase to the public throughout the country as well as to the overseas Vietnamese communities and international friends.
