The awards received 345 entries from 48 press agencies and units, including 108 works for print outlets, 150 for online newspapers, 87 for radio programmes, and 39 for television programmes.
At the award ceremony, the organising board presented 34 prizes for best journalistic entries, including one Special Prize, three A, five B, 10 C prizes, and 15 consolation prizes.
A group of journalists from Nhan Dan (People) Newspaper, namely Khanh Son, Quang Huy, Hoang Huy, Hong Tuoi, Tran Thanh, Bui Giang, and Tuan Vu, won a B prize for their work entitled “Thang Long-Hanoi: The Dragon Soars”.
