The VCA is an annual award organised by the Vietnam Digital Communication Association (VDCA) and managed by the Vietnam Digital Content Creation Alliance (DCCA). The VCA 2024 attracted nearly 300 submissions across various categories.
Nguyen Minh Hong, president of the Vietnam Digital Communication Association, stated: “For the second time, the VCA has received even stronger support from the community of Vietnamese digital content creators. This affirms the mission and goal of the awards, which is to contribute to the development of the digital content industry, inspire the growth of the digital content creator community, and foster the creation of Vietnamese digital content products that could reach a global audience, thereby contributing significant value to Vietnam’s digital economy.”
The Best Short Film/Video award was presented to Phan Thanh Quoc with the work entitled “Encounter with a Primitive in the Amazon Forest”. The Best Animated Video/Film went to Alpha Studio Vietnam Co., Ltd. with the film “The Carp of the Kitchen God”.
Shanghai Leadjoy Culture Communication Co., Ltd. won the “Outstanding Digital Content Creator” award while Hoang Nam Tien was honoured with “Digital Content Creator for the Community” award.
