Work starts on Lang Son general hospital

Nhan Dan - Construction of Lang Son General Hospital began on December 26 in Phai Tran hamlet, Hoang Dong commune, Lang Son city in the presence of the Minister of Health, Nguyen Quoc Trieu.

The 700-bed hospital covers an area of 25 hectares and is due to be completed in 2015.

The cost of the hospital, estimated at VND 1,540 billion (US$79 million), is being provided by the provincial Health Department.

At the ground-breaking ceremony Minister of Health Nguyen Quoc Trieu stressed that the hospital is an important construction that will help train local health staffs and improve their skills to master modern technology as well as providing improved health services to local people.
