The project comprises a two-floor building with a total floor area of 250 square metres, with a total investment of more than 3.6 billion VND funded by Binh Son Refining and Petrochemical Joint Stock Company. In addition to the official residence building, the company also sponsored medical equipment for the Con Co special zone with a total value of nearly 7 billion VND.
Speaking at the ceremony, Director of the Quang Tri Province’s Department of Health Diep Thi Minh Quyet expressed sincere thanks to Binh Son Refining and Petrochemical Joint Stock Company for its special attention and sense of responsibility towards the Con Co special zone. Con Co special zone holds a particularly important position in terms of defence and security. Despite many difficulties, the medical staff in the special zone have continuously strived to overcome challenges and have been devoted to caring for the health of officials, soldiers, and local residents on the island, while also supporting fishermen operating in the surrounding waters.
From its early days with only six staff members, the Con Co Military–Civilian Medical Centre has gradually developed, successfully handling many complex medical cases on the island and increasingly affirming its professional capacity. In particular, the attention of Party and State leaders, along with the support of enterprises, has provided significant driving force for the unit to further develop.
On this occasion, the Quang Tri Province’s Department of Health provided 10 million VND in support to Hoa Phong Ba Kindergarten–Primary School and presented 21 gifts to the school’s pupils.
