Three first prizes were awarded to Bui Chi Chuong from Mien Tay Construction University, Dang Duy Khoa from the University of Architecture Ho Chi Minh City, and Bui Thi Thuy An from Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology and Education, for their projects on VINPEARL High-End Tower, Hue Heritage Museum, and the Research and Education Centre on Biodiversity of the Can Gio Mangrove Biosphere Reserve, respectively.
Fifteen second prizes, twenty third prizes and twenty-five consolation prizes were also presented to other outstanding projects at the awards ceremony.
The Loa Thanh Awards, first launched in 1988 as an initiative of the Viet Nam Construction Association—now the Viet Nam Federation of Civil Engineering Associations—aim to honour excellent graduation projects by students from architectural and engineering universities nationwide.
This year’s event attracted 185 entries from students representing 26 universities across the country.
