The Noble Caledonia–Island Sky carried approximately 180 passengers and crew members, mainly tourists from the UK and Ireland.

During their stopover from 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., the cruise passengers explored iconic destinations in Gia Lai, including Ong Nui Pagoda and the Doi Towers, enjoyed spectacular traditional martial arts performances, and experienced the distinctive local culture.

According to Deputy Chairwoman of the Gia Lai Provincial People’s Committee, Nguyen Thi Thanh Lich, 2026 is a significant year as the province hosts the National Tourism Year. Alongside welcoming large international tourist delegations, Gia Lai is affirming its pioneering role, ready to position tourism as a pillar of economic development in the 2026–2030 period.

The province aims to welcome approximately 18.5 million tourist arrivals per year by 2030, including over 1 million foreign visitors.
