The opening ceremony was attended by members of the Party Central Committee: Editor-in-Chief of Nhan Dan (People) Newspaper, Deputy Head of the PCC Commission for Communication and Education, and Chairman of the Vietnam Journalists’ Association Le Quoc Minh; Minister of Natural Resources and Environment Dang Quoc Khanh; Secretary of the Bac Giang Provincial Party Committee Duong Van Thai; and leaders of several central agencies, ministries and branches; Central Vietnam Buddhist Sangha, along with numerous tourists across the country.
With the theme “The land of sacred Tay Yen Tu”, Tay Yen Tu Spring Festival and the Culture - Tourism Week 2024 are expected to contribute to strengthening the promotion of tourism potential and strengths, strongly promoting tourism cooperation between Bac Giang Province and localities throughout the country; linking sustainable tourism development with socio-economic development in the province.
Tay Yen Tu Spring Festival and the Culture - Tourism Week 2024 runs until February 25, 2024, with 17 main activities.
Previously, the Bac Giang Provincial Journalists Association, in coordination with the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the Department of Information and Communications, and the People's Committee of Son Dong District, organised the opening ceremony of the Bac Giang Provincial Spring Press Festival 2024.

Speaking at the ceremony, Trinh Van Anh, Editor-in-Chief of Bac Giang newspaper and Chairman of the Provincial Journalists Association, emphasised that the Spring Press Festival is a culturally rich activity for journalists and a practical activity of the Vietnam Journalists Association and press agencies, marking the achievements that the country and Bac Giang Province have achieved in 2023.
