Speaking at a press conference on October 27, chair of the contest Le Thi Tho said that the beauty pageant will honour the physical and intellectual beauty of Vietnamese women who have taken practical actions to safeguard the maritime environment.
It also aims to raise public awareness and love for the country’s seas and islands, while promoting the land, people, and culture of Vietnam.
The contest is open to Vietnamese women aged from 18 to 33 who are living and working in Vietnam.
The qualification round of the contest is being held from August 20 to December 20, with the final round set to take place from December 26 to 31.
The final night and crowning ceremony will be held on December 31 and will broad cast live on Binh Thuan Provincial Radio and Television. The celebration of the crowning moment will coincide with a fireworks display to mark New Year 2025 at Binh Thuan Provincial Square.
