The nearly 500 documents, books and newspapers on display at the event are divided into four topics: Party and President Ho Chi Minh’s sound leadership in the national resistance war against the French colonialists, Hanoi during the historical autumn, President Ho’s sentiment towards Hanoians, and 30 years of the ‘Good people - good deeds’ emulation movement in Hanoi.

The exhibition aims to raise the awareness and responsibility of all classes of people in the capital city of Hanoi, especially the young generation, in the construction and development of the capital and the country in general.

It also seeks to popularise the historic significance of Hanoi’s liberation in the cause of national construction and defence whist highlighting the revolutionary tradition and time-honoured culture of Thang Long – Hanoi.

The event will run until October 15 at the Hanoi Library, 47 Ba Trieu Street, Hoan Kiem District.
