Chairmanship of PCC's Inspection Commission handed over to newly appointed official

The Party Central Committee (PCC)’s Inspection Commission held a chairmanship handover ceremony in Ha Noi on November 7, with Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh and Permanent Member of the committee’s Secretariat Tran Cam Tu in attendance.

At the event, Tu extended his congratulations to Nguyen Duy Ngoc, former chairman of the commission and now Secretary of the Ha Noi Party Committee, as well as Tran Sy Thanh, the new chairman, on earning the trust of the Party Central Committee and the Politburo to assume their new posts.

He praised Ngoc’s strong sense of responsibility and significant contributions as Chairman of the Inspection Commission, particularly in renewing the Party’s inspection and supervision methods. He expressed confidence that Ngoc, in his new role, will achieve more successes in leading and guiding the capital’s development.

Tu also hoped that Thanh, with his extensive experience and dedication, will quickly take up his new responsibilities and help foster the commission’s solidarity, integrity, and professionalism to fulfil all assigned tasks and achieve even greater results in the time ahead.

Speaking at the ceremony, Ngoc voiced his confidence that under Thanh’s leadership, the commission will continue upholding its tradition of unity, innovation, and integrity while further improving the quality of the inspection and supervision work, contributing to a stronger Party deserving the people’s trust.

In his remarks, Thanh pledged to apply his experience to effectively carry out the inspection, supervision, and disciplinary work in line with the Party Statutes, fulfilling the tasks entrusted by the Party Central Committee, Politburo, and Secretariat. In the immediate term, he said, the Inspection Commission will focus on implementing its key duties in service of the 14th National Party Congress.
