This information has been announced by Vu The Binh, Chairman of the Vietnam Tourism Association (VITA), at a press conference held in Hanoi, on March 28.
This year's theme aims to direct tourism businesses to invest in building new tourism products, based on exploiting the unique values of traditional culture and cultural heritages of Vietnam.
With this theme, the Organising Committee hopes that VITM will contribute to making tourism an important part of the cultural industry, making a positive contribution to preserving the value of cultural heritages of Vietnam, and at the same time bring the traditional culture and modern culture of Vietnam to the world, Vu The Binh expressed.
At the VITM Hanoi 2023, the forum “Development of Vietnam’s Cultural Tourism" will be held directly and online on April 14, and is expected to attract thousands of representatives of State management agencies, domestic and international tourism experts, leaders of tourism businesses, destination management agencies and students of tourism schools.
For the first time at the event, there will be one booth representing the four provinces of Quang Nam, Da Nang, Hue and Quang Binh. In addition, 13 provinces in the Mekong Delta will also share a booth at VITM Hanoi 2023.
