Specifically, rooftop solar energy systems will be installed at Amata City Ha Long Industrial Park, which covers 686 hectares in Quang Ninh Province, and Amata City Long Thanh, which spans 410 hectares in Dong Nai Province.
The total capacity of the two systems is 227 megawatts. They are scheduled for implementation from early 2026, with the aim of accelerating green transition for business customers operating in these industrial parks.
The rooftop solar systems will also support Viet Nam’s net-zero emission goal by 2050.
On-site clean energy is expected to help Amata industrial parks enhance their competitiveness by providing comprehensive, cost-effective, and sustainable infrastructure that meets the requirements of enterprises in the global supply chain towards net-zero emissions.
According to Somhatai Panichewa, General Director of Amata Viet Nam, this cooperation will also transform Amata industrial parks into green manufacturing hubs, harmonising economic growth with environmental responsibility.
The three companies have pledged long-term support for Viet Nam’s sustainable industrial development in the next phase.
