Delegation from VFF and central mass organisations pays tribute to President Ho Chi Minh

As part of the first Congress of the Party Committee of the Viet Nam Fatherland Front (VFF) and Central Mass Organisations for the 2025–2030 tenure, delegates paid tribute to President Ho Chi Minh at his mausoleum in Ha Noi on September 21.

The delegation was led by Do Van Chien, Politburo Member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Party Committee of the VFF and central mass organisation, and President of the VFF Central Committee.

The delegation also included members of the Party committee’s executive committee for the 2020–2025 tenure, together with secretaries and deputy secretaries of its affiliated Party committees and branches.

Following their visit to President Ho Chi Minh’s Mausoleum, the delegation offered incense and flowers at the monument to war heroes and martyrs on Bac Son Street.

In front of the memorial, the delegates observed a minute of silence to honour the outstanding sons and daughters of the nation who laid down their lives for national liberation and the independence and freedom of the Fatherland.

The first Congress of the Party Committee of the VFF and Central Mass Organisations for the 2025–2030 tenure is scheduled to take place in the capital city of Ha Noi on September 22 and 23.

A total of 350 official delegates will attend the congress, including 31 members of the executive committee, 18 representatives from five Party organisations, and 301 appointed delegates from 20 subordinate Party organisations.
