The event welcomed nearly 100 tennis players representing the HDCS, HUFO and its member associations, international organisations, and foreign embassies in Viet Nam, including those of Ireland, Canada, Russia, Japan, France, and the Philippines.
Competitors took part in men’s singles, men’s doubles, and mixed doubles events.
In her opening remarks, HUFO Deputy Chairwoman Tran Thi Phuong emphasised that the annual tournament provides a platform for foreign diplomats based in Ha Noi to meet and engage with local officials working in the fields of people-to-people diplomacy, culture, and sport.
She added that the friendships and solidarity fostered on the court form a strong foundation, serving as a bridge between the people of Ha Noi and their international partners.
