The event, co-organised by the Department of Physical Training and Sports (Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism), the Viet Nam Tennis Federation, and the Lam Dong Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, gathers over 100 professional players from 14 top-ranked provincial teams and clubs nationwide. They are competing from October 13–19 across five events: men’s singles, women’s singles, men’s doubles, women’s doubles, and mixed doubles.

The NovaWorld National Tennis Championship 2025 serves as an important event to select athletes to represent Viet Nam at the upcoming SEA Games. This year’s tournament takes place in the the complex, featuring a world-class tennis facility with 14 Laykold courts, four movable-roof courts, and a modern clubhouse — all built to international standards.

Following this year’s tournament, NovaGroup and NovaSports plan to collaborate with the Viet Nam Tennis Federation to organise a series of seven tournaments under the International Tennis Federation (ITF) system, including two international U18 events, two women’s professional tournaments, and two men’s professional tournaments.

In particular, NovaWorld Phan Thiet will host the Billie Jean King Cup – Asia Group III, with the participation of national teams from Viet Nam, Laos, the Maldives, Saudi Arabia, Brunei, Bhutan, Bahrain, and Jordan. This marks the first time Viet Nam’s national women’s tennis team will compete on home soil at the complex.

At the same time, NovaGroup has signed a partnership with the ATP Tour to bring six ATP Challenger 50 tournaments — for players ranked in the world’s Top 250 — to its competition system starting from 2026. It has also partnered with the Alexander Waske International Tennis Academy (Germany) to host international training camps for young athletes.

With its strategic investment approach and world-class facilities, the NovaWorld International Tennis Complex is not only emerging as a gathering place for top players but also reaffirming its status as a new global destination for professional tennis.
