The festival attracted seven elephants, which participated in various activities such as bathing, greeting, enjoying a buffet, and interacting with tourists.
The framework of the Buon Ma Thuot Coffee Festival also featured boat racing in Lak District, witnessing the competition between five teams, with a total of 86 athletes, from Bong Krang Commune, Dak Lieng Commune, Yang Tao Commune, Lien Son Town, and the Lak Ten Tedcam tourist site.
The team participated in three events with a distance of 300 metres each on Lak Lake.
Visitors to the event could also explore the traditional rites of Central Highlanders, such as a wharf-worshipping ritual, a ceremony to pray good health for elephants, and gong performances.
The two events aimed to introduce the tourism advantages and potentials of Dak Lak Province, thus attracting more visitors and investors to the locality.
