About 270 pictures, documents, maps and woodblocks on Dak Nong from past and present are displayed at the event, which opened on March 22 in collaboration with the National Archives Centre II.

This is an opportunity for residents and visitors to learn more about the land and people of Dak Nong, as well as its potential, advantages and economic development outlook.

The exhibition also aims to introduce the province’s outstanding cultural value to domestic and foreign friends, helping to attract investment resources to serve socio-economic development.

Many documents and maps show the changes in administrative division, land names and village names in Dak Nong under French rule and the control of the Saigon regime.

These are original materials with accurate information on the history of Dak Nong in the 19th and 20th centuries.

The exhibition, part of a series of activities to mark the 20th anniversary of Dak Nong’s re-establishment, will run from March 22 to 23.
