The exhibition focuses on biodiversity in forests, the sea and in the region around Da Nang, as well as promoting and educating people about the topic.
Visitors to the exhibition can view photographs of local indigenous and endangered animals, ancient trees, and medicinal plants, as well as aquatic eco-systems and the biodiversity of the Ba Na Hills, Son Tra Peninsula, and Marble Mountains.
A series of films about the environment, including ‘Kho Bau Mong Manh’ (Fragile Treasure) produced by Vietnam Television in Da Nang, ‘Thanh Pho Moi Truong’ (The Environmental City) by the Da Nang Radio and Television Station (DRT), and ‘Thanh Pho Xanh’ (The Green City) by the municipal Department of Natural Resources and Environment (DNRE), are also being screened during the event.
The exhibition, which is organised by the municipal DNRE, the Frankfurt Zoological Society from Germany and the Greenviet Biodiversity Conservation Centre, will last until June 5.
