Co-organised by the municipal Tourism Association and Tourism Department, the event aims to promote the value of Vietnamese bread and Vietnamese cuisine in general to international gourmets while honouring the skill and creativity of bakers.
Visitors to the festival are introduced to 105 dishes served with ‘banh mi’ and ‘banh mi’ made from vegetables, as well as tasty freshly-baked bread.
A ceremony to honour top long-standing and famous bread brands in Vietnam, and a workshop on the development of bread in Vietnam will also be organised within the framework of the event.
The festival will run at the Youth Culture House in District 1 until April 2 and is expected to welcome more than 50,000 visitors.
