Furama Resort Da Nang has been selected as the venue for the event.
This information was announced at a press conference in Da Nang on August 22.
Chairman of GBA Alexander Ziehe said: “GBA Oktoberfest is not merely a festival, but a dynamic bridge that strengthens and deepens the long-standing friendship between Germany and Viet Nam, while fostering meaningful connections among communities, businesses and friends.”
“This year is particularly special as we mark the 30th anniversary of GBA. Expanding activities to the central region reflects our commitment to engaging members nationwide, while creating opportunities for cultural exchange, business cooperation and sustainable partnerships,” he added.
Peter Kompalla, Chief Representative of the German Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Vietnam (AHK Vietnam), shared “GBA Oktoberfest is more than a festival; it is a vibrant stage where culture and business converge, symbolising trust, cooperation and friendship between Viet Nam and Germany. The event also provides a platform to promote collaboration in trade, investment, vocational training, innovation and sustainable development.”

The festival promises the most vibrant atmosphere of the year as it makes its way through Viet Nam’s three major economic and cultural centres.
The event will kick off in Ha Noi on September 25, 26 and 27, followed by a one-night celebration at Furama Resort Da Nang on October 3, before concluding in Ho Chi Minh City with three nights of festivities on October 9, 10 and 11.
In Da Nang, the German beer festival will feature unique experiences, including a lively music programme from the German-Austrian band O’zapft; authentic German cuisine prepared by experienced international chefs; and premium fresh German beer and a wide range of other beverages.
