At the Vietnamese Embassy in Russia, staff members of the Embassy and affiliated agencies, the Union of Vietnamese Associations in Russia, the Youth Union, the Vietnamese Students’ Association, as well as a large number of Vietnamese expatriates living and studying in Russia paid respects to former President Tran Duc Luong.
Vietnamese Ambassador to Russia Dang Minh Khoi recalled the former President’s contributions to the traditional friendship between Viet Nam and the Russian Federation, notably his role in advancing bilateral ties following the 1994 signing of the Treaty on the Basic Principles of Friendly Relations.

In the condolence book, representatives of various countries, organisations, and individuals in Hungary expressed their profound sorrow over the passing of former President Tran Duc Luong and extended their deepest condolences to his family, as well as to the Party, state, and people of Viet Nam.
Meanwhile, in Brunei Darussalam, over 20 delegations representing local institutions, partners, and the Vietnamese community had registered to pay their respects to former President Tran Duc Luong as of 4:00 PM on May 24.
Staff of Vietnamese embassy and overseas Vietnamese in Germany paid tribute to former President Tran Duc Luong at a solemn memorial service. Diplomats from Cambodia, the Philippines, and Myanmar, along with members of the Germany-Viet Nam Association, also paid their respects.

The Permanent Mission of Viet Nam to the United Nations, along with the Vietnamese Embassies in Russia, Belgium, the United Kingdom, the Czech Republic, Italy, Australia, and Algeria, held memorial ceremonies and opened condolence books for former President Tran Duc Luong.
