HAG opens new hospital in Gia Lai

Nhan Dan – The Hoang Anh Gia Lai Group (HAG) officially inaugurated its new hospital, the HAG University Medical Centre in Pleiku city in the Central Highlands province of Gia Lai, on January 2 after three years of construction.

The Medical Centre is located in the Tra Ba ward of Pleiku city and was built at a total cost of VND250 billion (US$12 million).

The hospital now has a capacity of 200 beds and it is expected to provide 300 beds in 2013.

HAG also signed a deal with the Ho Chi Minh City University Medical Centre to provide professional training for the hospital’s doctors and medical staff.

The hospital aims to meet the demands for health check-ups and treatment of local residents as well as those of people from neighboring Laos and Cambodia.
