The centre will cover nearly 12.4ha with a total floor area of nearly 50,000m2 and it will accommodate 1,500 seats.

The centre, which requires over 2.3 trillion VND (99.6 million USD) from the Hai Phong budget, will serve large-scale events, such as national and international conferences, seminars, and performance art programmes.

Upon its completion, the convention and performance centre will contribute to completing the architectural cityscape in the Bac Song Cam urban area and support the city’s socio-economic growth, said Chairman of the Hai Phong City People’s Committee Nguyen Van Tung.

The project is scheduled for completion in mid-2025.
