In Pictures: 100 journalists from Viet Nam Journalists’ Association visit Truong Sa Island District

This is the first time the Viet Nam Journalists’ Association has organised such a visit to Truong Sa Island (Khanh Hoa Province), gathering 100 leaders from press agencies and journalists from all regions of the country.

Before beginning the meaningful sea journey, the delegation’s members pay tribute at the monument dedicated to fallen soldiers from the No Number Ship squadron.

Journalist Le Quoc Minh, Member of the Party Central Committee (PCC), Editor-in-Chief of Nhan Dan Newspaper, Deputy Head of the PCC’s Commission for Communications, and Education and Mass Mobilisation, and Chairman of the Viet Nam Journalists’ Association, offers flowers and incense at the monument.

Delegation No. 25, including 100 press leaders and reporters from media outlets and journalists’ associations nationwide, is heading to Truong Sa and the DK1 offshore platform cluster with the message: “Joining hands to build and defend Viet Nam’s sovereignty over seas and islands.”

Delegates capture memorable moments before boarding the KN-290 ship for their journey to visit the people and armed forces on Truong Sa.

Vietnamese national flags, which were carefully prepared by the journalists, are being brought to Truong Sa.

Smiles and unforgettable moments filled the atmosphere as the 100 journalists, reporters, and editors prepare for their meaningful voyage.

Delegation No. 25 set sail from Cat Lai Port (Ho Chi Minh City) with a spirit of determination, carrying the patriotic energy of May’s historic days and the collective will to stand with and support the country’s beloved maritime territories.
