The event also marks the 70th anniversary of the founding of the Viet Nam People's Navy (May 7, 1955- 2025).
The exhibition features 70 outstanding photographs taken by seven photographers — Nguyen Trang Kim Cuong, Pho Ba Cuong, Bui Quang Vu, Vu Duy Boi, Tran Dac Hung, Dao Van Su and Pham Duc Minh — during a recent field trip to the Truong Sa (Spratly) Archipelago and DK1 platforms in April and May.
Each work captures a heartfelt and authentic glimpse into the lives and spirit of the military and civilians stationed at the forefront of the nation’s maritime frontier. Emotional moments, such as the incense offering ceremony in memory of President Ho Chi Minh at the temple on Truong Sa Island, sailors lighting incense before heading to sea, or the revered words of Uncle Ho deeply etched in the hearts of naval soldiers, are all conveyed through the evocative lens of photography.

The exhibition captures the resilient and optimistic spirit of soldiers and civilians on the islands and DK1 platforms. |
In addition, the exhibition portrays the strength and optimism of military officers, soldiers, and civilians on the islands and DK1 rigs; daily life and the strong bond between the army and the people; as well as the heartfelt support from the mainland, especially from the people of Ho Chi Minh City, for the forces performing their duties at sea.
Through this exhibition, the public is not only offered a chance to appreciate the beauty and strategic importance of the nation's maritime territories, but also to be inspired with patriotism, national pride, and a commitment to follow President Ho Chi Minh’s thought, morality and style, particularly among today’s younger generation.
