International friends still vividly remember key milestones in Vietnam’s history, such as the August Revolution, the Dien Bien Phu Victory, and the Liberation of the South and National Reunification on April 30, 1975. At the 48th Avante Press Festival, friends from Portugal and around the world expressed their admiration for the changes in Vietnam under the leadership of the Communist Party of Vietnam.
