Binh Phuoc cashew nuts are well-known for their high quality and distinctive flavour, processed into a wide range of products to meet both domestic and international market demands.
Cashew is cultivated in about 152,000 hectares across Binh Phuoc Province, accounting for over 30% of the province’s total perennial crop area and more than 33% of its agricultural land. This area represents nearly 50% of Vietnam’s total cashew-growing land.
The province is also home to more than 1,400 small and medium-scale cashew processing facilities, creating regular employment for over 50,000 employees.
This year, cashew yields have declined due to the bad effects of climate change, local farmers remain optimistic, as the price of fresh raw cashew nuts has increased significantly. At present, farmers and enterprises are busy with the 2024–2025 crop harvest.
