At the conference, delegates discussed measures to enhance tourism cooperation between India and Khanh Hoa Province in the future.

Specifically, Khanh Hoa and India will introduce their potential and strengths in tourism, and promote the opening of direct flights between Cam Ranh and India.

Direct flights will facilitate the travel of both countries’ people and act as a bridge between tourism companies in Khanh Hoa and India.

Speaking at the conference, Khanh Hoa Vice Chairman Le Huu Hoang stated that this is an occasion for the two sides to introduce their tourism images while creating a space for leaders and tourism companies to directly discuss the state of Khanh Hoa-India tourism development.

Khanh Hoa expressed its hope that the Indian Consulate General will accompany the province in facilitating tourism development between the two sides.

For his part, Deputy Consul General Tushar Garg stated that India and Khanh Hoa can cooperate on health and yoga tourism, ecotourism and cultural exchange programmes.

He noted that both India and Khanh Hoa are endowed with natural beauty and biodiversity and that common initiatives on ecotourism can promote sustainable tourism development.
