Located on Vo Truong Toan Street and Thao Dien Street in Thu Duc City, the memorial house was the residence of the late Prime Minister from 1976 to 1982, when he served as a Politburo member and the Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh Municipal Party Committee.

The interior of the house has been kept intact, including a wooden sofa set, a bed, and a bentwood rattan rocking chair.

The memorial house also displays photos, objects, and books on the life and career of Sau Dan, the beloved nickname given to late PM Vo Van Kiet.

Speaking at the inauguration ceremony, Deputy Director of Ho Chi Minh City Museum Doan Thi Trang expressed her respect and gratitude for late PM Vo Van Kiet.

She also pledged that the museum will collect and add further images, documents and objects to the memorial house’s collection so that the life and service of comrade Sau Dan will be introduced to visitors from both at home and abroad.
