NA Standing Committee to supervise development of human resources

The National Assembly Standing Committee will supervise the implementation of policies and laws on the development and use of human resources and high-quality human resources nationwide, meeting the socio-economic development from 2021 to December 31, 2024.

On the morning of August 20, the National Assembly Standing Committee gave opinions on the draft Supervision Plan and the outline of the report of the National Assembly Standing Committee's Supervision Delegation, on the implementation of policies and laws on the development and use of human resources, to meet the requirements of socio-economic development, especially high-quality human resources.

According to the Plan, the subjects of supervision include the Government, several ministries, People’s Committees of 63 provinces and centrally run cities, relevant agencies and organisations training human resources and training facilities for key, high-quality sectors (such as health, high-quality pedagogy, law, economics, engineering; some specialised schools, gifted schools training talents), and specific educational and training facilities (police, military sectors; human resource training facilities for ethnic minority and mountainous areas).

The scope of supervision is to supervise the implementation of nationwide policies and laws on the development and use of human resources and high-quality human resources, to meet socio-economic development requirements from 2021 to December 31, 2024 (from the 13th National Congress of the Party to present).

The supervision delegation is scheduled to organise working groups to conduct direct monitoring in ten localities, including Bac Giang, Thai Nguyen, Hanoi, Hai Phong, Hai Duong, Dak Lak, Khanh Hoa, Ho Chi Minh City, Ba Ria-Vung Tau, and Tra Vinh.
