The event, jointly organised by the French Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Vietnam (CCIFV), the France Alumni Vietnam and the French Embassy in Vietnam, offered over 200 employment opportunities.
According to the French Consul General to Ho Chi Minh City Vincent Floreani, the job festival is a practical activity aimed at strengthening the solidarity and friendship between the two countries on the occasion of the 45th anniversary of the Vietnam-France diplomatic ties and five years of their strategic partnership.
Nearly 50 Vietnamese and French firms, in various fields from trade, banking, distribution, accounting-auditing, communications, education, IT, construction, hotels, and tourism, participated in the event.
CCIFV Director Guillaume Crouzet said that the event aimed to create chances for enterprises and recruiters to seek high quality human resources, while providing opportunities for Vietnamese youngsters, especially those who were trained in France or under French programmes in Vietnam.
In addition, workshops were also held to develop capacity of and exchange experience with the applicants.
