The Silver Ball and Bronze Ball awards went to Nguyen Dinh Bac and Nguyen Quang Hai, both representing Ha Noi Police FC.
Speaking at the ceremony, Le Quoc Minh, Member of the Party Central Committee (PCC), Editor-in-Chief of Nhan Dan Newspaper, and Deputy Head of the PCC Commission for Communication, Education, and Mass Mobilisation, emphasised that the award—initiated by Sai Gon Giai Phong (Liberated Saigon) Newspaper in 1995—has affirmed its prestige over 30 editions.
Minh, who also serves as Chairman of the Viet Nam Journalists Association, noted that it has contributed to fostering a vibrant and meaningful football culture within the wider sports sector.
He praised the award as both a motivation and a benchmark for footballers, encouraging them to demonstrate talent and integrity on the pitch as well as in everyday life.
In the women’s category, striker Nguyen Thi Bich Thuy of Thai Nguyen T&T FC was crowned Golden Ball winner. The Silver Ball went to Pham Hai Yen of Ha Noi FC, while Tran Thi Thuy Trang of the Viet Nam women’s futsal team received the Bronze Ball.
In the futsal category, the Golden Ball was awarded to Chau Doan Phat of Thai Son Nam FC in Ho Chi Minh City. Tu Minh Quang and Nguyen Da Hai, both from Thai Son Bac FC, secured the Silver and Bronze Balls respectively.
The organisers also presented additional honours, including Outstanding Young Male and Female Player, Outstanding Foreign Player, Most Voted Player, and the Dedication Award.
