The province greeted more than 648,000 holidaymakers and earned over 733 billion VND in the first three months of this year, 4.4 and 4.37 times higher year on year, respectively.
The encouraging results were attributed to the provincial tourism sectors’ drastic measures to recover tourism activities in the post-COVID-19 period.
The province has also been active in organising events and programmes to advertise its tourism advantages and potentials, such as the fishing festival, the Macoong drum festival, and Hoang Phuc Pagoda Festival, while launching new tours, including an off-road driving tour in Lim Forest, a tour to explore Hung Thoong Cave, and a boat tour along Nhat Le River.
In 2023, the locality aims to receive 3.5 million vacationers, including 100,000 international visitors, and pocket 3.9 trillion VND in tourism revenue.
