In the outstanding athlete category, shooter Trinh Thu Vinh topped the list for the second consecutive year with 1,272 points — an emphatic lead over the rest.
Athlete Nguyen Thi Oanh came second with 761 points, while forward Nguyen Dinh Bac secured third place with 693 points.
In the outstanding coach category, Kim Sang-sik of the men’s national football team led with 532 points, reflecting his significant influence on training and restructuring the team’s playing style.
He was followed by Tran Quoc Cuong from Ha Noi’s shooting team with 283 points, and Nguyen Hoang Vu from the national swimming team with 224 points.
The national U22 men’s football team was named the best sports team of 2025 with 1,660 points.
The women’s 4x400m athletics relay team followed with 635 points, alongside the women’s sepak takraw team and the women’s beach handball team, both with 560 points.
In para-sports, swimmer Vi Thi Hang ranked first with 282 points, followed by weightlifter Le Van Cong with 264 points, and chess player Tran Thi Bich Thuy with 252 points.
The para-sports coaches list featured Nguyen Dang Vien from Ho Chi Minh City’s swimming team with 201 points, Dang Van Phuc from Ho Chi Minh City’s athletics team with 156 points, and Bui Quang Vu from Ha Noi’s chess team with 153 points.
