In recent days, residents from central districts to suburban areas of Ha Noi have enthusiastically rehearsed for cultural and artistic performances celebrating the 14th National Party Congress. On the eve of the Congress, many communes and wards, such as Bo De, Phu Luong, Ung Hoa and Quang Oai, organised art programmes as symbolic bouquets of flowers sent to the Congress.

Dang Viet Dong, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of Ung Hoa Commune, shared that these cultural activities are not merely occasions for exchange and enjoyment but also a broad and profound political activity, nurturing the people’s trust in the Party’s leadership. Songs and dances praising revolutionary traditions help evoke national pride and create a joyful and uplifting atmosphere among Party members and the public. This serves as an important spiritual foundation for Ung Hoa to continue its emulation efforts and successfully achieve socio-economic development goals, striving for outstanding achievements in celebration of the Congress.

According to Pham Tuan Long, Director of the Ha Noi Municipal Department of Culture and Sports, in addition to a special artistic programme themed “Under the Glorious Flag of the Party” to be held at the My Dinh National Stadium on the evening of 23 January, nearly 90 cultural and artistic events are being organised across the city to celebrate the Party Congress. Particular emphasis has been placed on grassroots activities, creating opportunities for all citizens to enjoy and enhance their spiritual and cultural life.

Pham Ngoc Minh, a resident of Kham Thien Street in Dong Da Ward, said: “My family, friends and I are closely following the activities of this Party Congress. In 2025, the country and the capital have achieved many important accomplishments. Everyone hopes that the 14th Congress will usher in a new phase of development and make the country more prosperous. And we believe that this will soon become a reality.”

During these days, streets, residential areas, agencies and units across Da Nang City have been colourfully decorated, creating a solemn and enthusiastic atmosphere in anticipation of the 14th National Party Congress.

From the border region, village patriarch Alang Lap, a respected figure in Ta Lang Village, A Vuong Commune, Da Nang City, expressed his hope that the Party and state would continue to pay greater attention to ethnic minority communities, creating better conditions for children in mountainous areas to attend school and ensuring that no child is forced to abandon their education. He also hoped that the Party would continue to lead local people in maintaining security and order, while addressing practical social welfare needs such as adequate food and clothing, farmland and upland fields, livestock development, and healthcare. These efforts, he said, would help families in A Vuong gradually achieve stability and sustainable development.

Recalling the severe damage caused by the recent storms and floods in mountainous communes, elder Alang Lap said emotionally: “The Party and the state promptly supported the locality in addressing landslides and helped households repair and rebuild homes, schools, medical stations, and roads serving daily life. Without the care and attention of the Party and the state, it would have been difficult for us to have new homes to welcome the Lunar New Year. I am deeply moved and place my full trust in the 14th National Party Congress.”

People from all walks of life in Ho Chi Minh City believe that under the Party’s wise and comprehensive leadership, the country will confidently enter a new era. Nguyen Thi Ai Van, a resident of An Phu Dong Ward, expressed her delight at the strong development witnessed nationwide in recent years, particularly in Ho Chi Minh City. “We are very happy to enjoy the benefits of that development,” she said, while hoping that the Party would continue to pay even greater attention to social welfare, especially healthcare and education. These, she noted, are two essential pillars for further improving people’s quality of life and enhancing the future quality of the nation’s human resources.

Cadres and civil servants have also placed great dedication, expectations and a strong sense of responsibility in the 14th National Party Congress, hoping that it will issue strategic decisions to create new momentum for national development.

Huynh Thi Thuy Dung, Head of the Commission for Information, Education and Mass Mobilisation of the Da Nang Party Committee, emphasised that the 14th Congress is a congress of trust and a powerful aspiration to rise, opening a new era of development for the country. She expressed confidence that, with the Party’s sound leadership and the unity and solidarity of the entire nation, the Congress will adopt correct and strategic decisions that meet practical demands and drive rapid and sustainable development.

Sharing that same confidence, Nguyen Thi Luan, an official at the Party Building Commission of the Tan Son Nhat Ward Party Committee in Ho Chi Minh City, expressed her hope that the Congress would continue to introduce breakthrough guidelines and policies, particularly in science and technology, innovation, and the improvement of human resource quality. She stressed that prioritising the training and development of cadres and civil servants with innovative thinking and strong adaptability will be a key factor in realising development goals in the new phase.
