Photography exhibition, film week introduce Vietnam to Ukraine

Nhan Dan Online – A photography exhibition and film week entitled ‘Vietnam – World’s Rendezvous’ is being held in Kharkov city in Ukraine from August 30 to September 5.

The exhibition and film week feature more than 200 photos and 100 documentary films exploring the beauty of Vietnam’s landscapes and people.

The films are produced by the Centre for Press and International Communication Co-operation under the Ministry of Information and Communications (MIC) and divided into seven parts including ‘Vietnam National Assembly – Vietnam Government’, ‘Vietnam – Integration and Development’, ‘World Cultural Heritages in Vietnam’, ‘Vietnamese Traditional Trade Villages’, ‘Vietnamese Festivals’, ‘Vietnamese Cuisine’ and ‘Beauty of Vietnam’.

The events contribute to introducing the image of Vietnam’s land and people to the world and promoting the comprehensive co-operation between Vietnam and Ukraine.

Visitors and audiences to the exhibition and film week will have a chance to know more about Vietnam, a potential country which has a long-lasting history and tradition.

The events are held to celebrate the 68th anniversary of the Vietnamese National Day (September 2) and 21st anniversary of Vietnam – Ukraine diplomatic ties.

After the exhibition and film week close, the photos and films are scheduled to be displayed and screened at other places in Ukraine.
