Nhan Dan Online/VNA - A high-voltage power transmission cable was handed over to Ly Son island district in the central province of Quang Ngai on August 23, as part of a project to power the locality round the clock.

Power transmission cable comes to Ly Son island district

Designed and installed by Italy’s Prysmian and Vietnam’s Thai Duong company, the submarine cable stretches 26km and runs at 22kV.

The electricity transmission project, worth over VND652 billion (US$31 million), is scheduled for completion by September.
