The three other centres are located in Singapore, India and China.
The centre, run by the Research Centre for Genetics and Reproductive Health (CGRH), is equipped with modern equipment purchased from Merck Serono, a German’s world-leading pharmaceutical company at a cost of more than US$120,000.
The establishment of the CREST creates an opportunity for embryologic doctors, experts and medical students to learn significant knowledge and utilise the latest techniques in reproductive health. It also aims to boost the transfer of treatment prescriptions and techniques to other reproductive health centres in Vietnam, contributing to help the country’s health sector catch up with the region and the world’s medicine.
