The show is set to last for over two hours at the National Convention Centre in Nam Tu Liem district on November 14.
It will mark the opening of the “Good Morning Vietnam” international music project, initiated by the Nhan Dan (People) Newspaper and IB Group Vietnam.
Speaking at the press conference held in Hanoi, Le Quoc Minh, Nhan Dan Newspaper’s editor-in-chief and head of the event’s steering committee, said that the project aims to not only bring the world's top music to Vietnam but is also dedicated to the community, as all proceeds will be donated for charitable activities.
Sharing his thoughts, Kenny G expressed his thanks to Nhan Dan Newspaper and IB Group for their support of his second show in Vietnam, the first being held five years ago as part of his "Brazilian Nights" album’s promotional tour.
At the event, Kenny G presented the organising board with one of his saxophones, which is a replica of the saxophone he used when he first started his career.
The saxophone will be auctioned off to raise funds for disadvantaged people, particularly children, thus contributing to the ‘Good Morning Vietnam’ project.
