In addition to screenings of selected war films produced after 1975, there will be meetings and conversations between audiences, artists and filmmakers.
The 22 feature films in the programme will be screened free of charge during DANAFF from June 29 to July 5 at cinemas in Da Nang.
Audiences attending the programme can interact with famous artists and listen to interesting and memorable cinema stories.
Among the 22 films, several have received numerous domestic and international film awards, such as “The Wild Field” and “First Love”.
Also, as part of this programme, a seminar will review and evaluate the achievements, values and position of war films in the development of cinema, and in promoting Vietnam’s image to the world.
Organisers will announce programme details and screening schedules over mass media, as well as the film festival’s communication channels, including Facebook and TikTok, in June.
