As Ba Vi district is defined as a green area with no more F0 cases, it is the only locality permitted by the Hanoi People's Committee to welcome students back to school, starting with students in Grade 9. They are also the first students in Hanoi to return to school after more than six months of hiatus due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The Office of Education and Training of Ba Vi district and local schools have actively prepared carefully in terms of human resources and facilities to welcome students back to school, with special attention being paid to the prevention and control of the pandemic.

According to Head of the Education and Training Office of Ba Vi district Phung Ngoc Oanh, schools have been guided to fully implement the 16 criteria on ensuring pandemic prevention and control according to the regulations of the Hanoi Department of Education and Training.

To help schools be proactive in dealing with the pandemic, the People's Committee of Ba Vi district held an exercise to welcome students to school at the Co Do Junior Secondary School in Co Do commune on the morning of November 7. The exercise saw the participation of local leaders, teachers and staff from various schools.
The exercise featured the reception of students at the school gate, arranging vehicles, guiding students into the classroom, monitoring students' health during school hours, handling situations when students show signs of cough and fever, and plans when there are cases of F0, F1, and F2 in the class.
Ba Vi is the only locality permitted by the Hanoi People's Committee to welcome students back to school
Only the ninth graders of Van Hoa Junior Secondary School in Ba Vi district will go back to school from November 10. Students from the remaining grades will continue to learn online while preschool children are still out of school.
