The event was held to mark the 109th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's departure to seek ways for national salvation (June 5, 1911-2020) and welcome the Party congress at all levels towards the 11th Congress of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee for the 2020 - 2025 tenure.
34 collectives and 44 individuals were honoured at a programme in recognition of their study and pursuance of Ho Chi Minh’s ideology, morality and style.
They are dynamic and creative youth union members who overcame difficulties to obtain achievements in their study and work; young doctors on the frontline whoprevented and controlled the COVID-19 epidemic and protected people's health; young teachers with initiatives to renovate teaching methods; young athletes who won numerous gold medals at international tournaments; and young officers in the armed forces who bravely fought and successfully completed all assigned tasks, amongstothers.
