In commemoration of the War Invalids and Martyrs Day (July 27, 1947 - July 27, 2026), Ho Chi Minh City Eye Hospital is implementing a programme to provide free cataract surgery for 40 people from families entitled to preferential policies, with the message of “Bright Eyes – Complete Gratitude.”

Visiting Heroic Vietnamese Mother Tran Thi Sach in Phu Ly ward, whose two sons died in wartime, President of the Viet Nam Fatherland Front’s Central Committee Bui Thi Minh Hoai expressed gratitude for her sacrifices, affirming that the Party, State and people always remember and honour those who have rendered service to the nation.

Over the past ten months, Ha Noi has authorised the Viet Nam Bank for Social Policies to provide loans totalling nearly 4.2 trillion VND to poor households and policy beneficiaries, helping create jobs for 49,400 workers.

A central government delegation led by Party Central Committee Member and Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha, visited and presented gifts to five families with meritorious service in Dong Nai Province on July 23 to mark the occasion of the 78th anniversary of the War Wounded and Fallen Soldiers’ Day (July 27, 1947 - 2025).
