Standing Deputy Prime Minister Pham Gia Tuc has signed Decision No. 1115/QD-TTg promulgating a plan to implement Notice No. 64-TB/VPTW (dated May 22) issued by the Office of the Party Central Committee, conveying the conclusions of Party General Secretary and State President To Lam at a working session with several agencies on the implementation of Directive No. 34-CT/TW of the Party Central Committee’s Secretariat on social housing and orientations for housing development in the coming period.

Viet Nam’s real estate market is showing clear signs of recovery, but sustainable development and effective price control remain essential priorities, Deputy Minister of Construction Nguyen Van Sinh said at the Viet Nam Real Estate Market Forum 2026, held in Ha Noi on January 9.

From March 1, 2026, each real estate asset, including individual houses, apartment units and products within property development projects, will be assigned a unique digital ID code. The regulation is stipulated in Government Decree No. 357 on the construction and management of the housing and real estate market information system and database.

In the context of a volatile global economy, Viet Nam has emerged as a relatively bright spot in the region thanks to its stable macroeconomic foundation, long-term growth potential, and consistent open-door policy.

Priority should continue to be given to maintaining macroeconomic stability , controlling inflation, spurring growth and ensuring major balances of the economy, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh said at the Government’s February meeting on March 3 in Hanoi.
