Visitors quietly queue to see the stilt house, fishpond, and modest belongings that reflect President Ho Chi Minh’s simple and virtuous life.
Many schools have organised educational visits to mark the occasion. Nghia Dung Primary School brought outstanding pupils to learn about his life and revolutionary legacy through interactive experiences, including QR code-guided tours, 3D reconstructions, and multimedia presentations.
Nguyen Thi Huong from Quang Ninh Province expressed her emotion upon visiting: “Seeing the place where Uncle Ho lived and worked reminds me of his great sacrifice and humble lifestyle.” Similarly, young visitor Nguyen Thanh Phuong shared a sense of pride and inspiration, noting the powerful impact of standing in the very place where history was made.
To serve the surge in visitors, the site has launched special programmes such as the exhibition “President Ho Chi Minh — Essence of the nation, stature of the times”, a photo display of his years at the Presidential Palace (1954–1969), and the unveiling of the book 135 Stories about Uncle Ho.
Recognised as a Special National Relic since 2009, the 14.7-hectare site preserves 20 key locations and over 1,700 artifacts associated with President Ho Chi Minh’s final 15 years of life and leadership.
