The selected units included five accommodation facilities of Vinpearl Condotel Riverfront Da Nang, Vinpearl Resort and Spa, Vinpearl Luxury Resort, Risemount Hotel and Muong Thanh Luxury Da Nang Hotel; three tourist attractions of Ngu Hanh Son (Marble Mountains), the Museum of Cham Sculpture and Sun World Ba Na Hills; and nine tourism transportation businesses.

According to Chairman of Da Nang Tourism Association Cao Tri Dung, more than 90% of businesses have not reopened. The tourism sector hopes for a quick recovery of the tourist market to address the difficulties for enterprises.

The Da Nang City People’s Committee has issued a regulation specifying the specific tasks of agencies, units, localities and individuals involved in welcoming and serving international guests under the pilot plan with three phases, starting from November 2021.

According to Vice Chairman of Da Nang City People's Committee Tran Phuoc Son, the pilot programme to welcome international tourists aims to assess the level of infection and the ability to control, respond to and handle medical incidents as COVID-19 cases are reported.

The programme will also contribute to gradually restoring tourism and economic activities throughout the city, while moving towards serving normal tourism activities in accordance with the roadmap permitted by the Government.

Other qualified units for the pilot programme will be updated via websites https://tourism.danang.gov.vn/ and https://danangfantasticity.com/.
